The Crimson Pirate

This 1950's technicolor sendup of swashbucklers is very fun. We had a 6-year-old visiting us, and he's so inundated w/ modern entertainment we didn't think anything could please him, but we were up to the challenge. This film fit the bill. Burt Lancaster and his sidekick (real life pal from his circus days) are acromastic!! See action aboard real ships. See pirates swim. See them work the sails. See swashbuckling action.
